Some concept art I did for a story writer (@domorum on twitter), specifically for one of the main characters in their original creative project.
I had a blast collaborating with them, and I am very proud of the final results!

We delved deeper into option D and started rendering from there.
Some poses we went through very early on, before we had a clear visual for the weapon.
We had decided very early on that his weapon of choice would be something between a longsword and a zweihander, so these were some of the first drafts for it.
The idea we went with was number 7 because of the look of almost braided metal, like someone folded it onto itself while it was still hot.
